Then stroll through the Kuan Zhai Alley, a historic preserve district of modern villas and gardens that consist of 45 courtyards from the Qing and Ming dynasties. In the evening, watch the Chuan Opera which is famous for bianlian, the art of Face Changing. A Sichuan Opera performer can change 14 face masks in 25 seconds.
Jiuzhaigou Valley : This valley is adjacent to the Tibetan Plateau and is known for its amazing colorful lakes and numerous waterfalls. Visit the Jarpo Ancient Town in Jiuzhaigou Valley and learn about Tibetan and ethnic Qiang culture. Thetown museum houses relics from the area’s past.
