Rome - Pompei - Napoli
After breakfast we shall head south to Pompei, where we have a guided walking tour of the excavations of the Roman town and its inhabitants, literally petrified by the eruption of Versuvius in 79 A.D. In the afternoon we proceed to Napoli, a lovely resort town in the south by the sea. Upon arrival we shall visit the city wall, Arch of Triumph and People’s Square, and enjoy your dinner at a local restaurant. (B/D)

Napoli - Bagnoregio - Assisi (City Tour)
After breakfast we shall go to Bagnoregio. Bagnoregio has been abandoned for a couple hundred years; it becomes famous again because of a Japanese cartoonist created an animated movie “Laputa: Castle in the Sky” according to the beautiful scene of this remote town. Afterwards we shall head to Assisi, the “Pink City”, where we have a walking tour at the Basilica of St. Francis. The Basilica, which was begun in 1228, is built into the side of a hill and comprises two churches known as the Upper Church and the Lower Church, and a crypt where the remains of the saint are interred. With its accompanying friary, the basilica is a distinctive landmark to those approaching Assisi. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000. (B/D)

Assisi - Chianti - Florence (City Tour) - Prato
After breakfast we proceed to the famous Italian vineyard Chianti, enjoy some wine with cheese, dry aged meat and a variety of olive oil. Then we move on to Florence. Florence contains an exceptional artistic patrimony, glorious testimony to its secular civilization, and we should enjoy the artistic atmosphere by walking throughout the city. The Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore and Signoria Squares are two of the major spots you must visit. If time allows we should take a panoramic view from Michelangelo Square. Then we proceed to Prato for overnight. (B/D)

Prato - Venice (City Tour) - Verona
Venice is one of the most important tourist destinations in the world, due to the city being one of the world’s greatest and most beautiful cities of art. An estimate at 2007, the city has an average of 50,000 tourists a day! We are going to visit her after breakfast. Upon arrival we shall proceed to St. Mark’s Square by Water Taxi. Bridge of Signs (Ponte dei Sospiri), Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale) and the Church of St. Mark are some places you should not miss. Also visit the Basilica and witness a demonstration in a glass blowing factory. You may also ride on the famous Gondola on your own cost to cruise around the waterways if the weather situation permits! In the afternoon, continue our journey to Verona – the home of Shakespeare’s “star-cross’d lovers”. We shall visit the Roman Arena and the Juliet’s Balcony before enjoying dinner at a local restaurant. (B/D)

Verona - Lake District - Milan
After breakfast we begin our journey by visiting Lake Como. Lake Como has been a popular retreat for aristocrats and wealthy people since Roman times, and a very popular tourist attraction with many artistic and cultural gems. After scenic views we are going to return to modern civilization, by heading to one of the world’s most famous shopping city – Milan! Visit Via Monte Napoleone, also the Milan Cathedral and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. (B/D)

Milan - Cinque Terre - La Spezia
After breakfast we shall proceed to Cinque Terre (Five Lands) – composed of 5 villages: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore, together with the coastline and the surrounding hillsides, is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Over centuries, people have carefully built terraces on the rugged, steep landscape right up to the cliffs that overlook the sea. Part of its charm is the lack of visible corporate development. Paths, trains and boats connect the villages, and cars cannot reach them from the outside. The Cinque Terre is a very popular tourist destination. We specially arranged train rides for you to travel through all five villages. You should not miss the magnificent view from the trail between Riomaggiore and Manarola, which called the Via Dell’Amore (Love Walk). You may then enjoy lunch on your own accord. We shall then continue our journey to La Spezia for overnight. (B/D)

La Spezia - Pisa - Rome
After breakfast we shall proceed to Pisa, the birth place of the famous physicist and philosopher Galileo Galilei. Visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa upon arrival. Later we follow the Italian coastline and return to Rome. Enjoy dinner at a Chinese restaurant. (B/D)
