Sichuan’s capital, Chengdu City is a terrific place to unwind and enjoy life’s little pleasures. Its location is known as the Country of Heaven and is home to spicy Sichuan cuisine, hot pot, and other gourmet treats. Have a cup of tea with locals in a cozy tea house, play some cards with friends, and watch a traditional tea ceremony during your visit.

Also located in Chengdu is China’s famous Giant Panda Reserve, giving visitors the opportunity to meet these famous ambassadors

Daily Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Chengdu : Attend a welcome party with an introduction of the tour and local culture. The rest of the day is at your leisure

Day 2

Panda Reserve, Kuan Zhai Alley : Visit China’s Panda Breeding Center to view China’s adorable ambassadors. For lunch have a spicy hotpot. Then stroll through the Kuan Zhai Alley, a historic preserve district of modern villas and gardens that consist of 45 courtyards from the Qing and Ming dynasties. In the evening, watch the Chuan Opera which is famous for bianlian, the art of Face Changing. A Sichuan Opera performer can change 14 face masks in 25 seconds.

Day 3

Jiuzhaigou Valley : This valley is adjacent to the Tibetan Plateau and is known for its amazing colorful lakes and numerous waterfalls. Visit the Jarpo Ancient Town in Jiuzhaigou Valley and learn about Tibetan and ethnic Qiang culture. Thetown museum houses relics from the area’s past.

Day 4

Jiuzhaigou Valley : Explore more of the natural scenic landscapes in the Jiuzhai Valley Scenic Area, which is renowned for its hundreds of sparkling, color entwined mineral lakes. Upon entering the valley, you will find yourself in the midst of stunning natural beauty filled with some of the clearest and most serene lakes and waterfalls in the world.

Day 5

Jiuzhaigou Valley Chengdu :Fly to Chengdu after breakfast. Depart.
