Guilin Tour

On the Li River fishermen and birds perch on bamboo rafts (a partnership that goes back more than a thousand years.) The rivers have carved amazing peaks and valleys into the cliffs and paint a reoccurring motif illustrating the beauty of China.
Despite its natural landscape and beautiful outdoors, Guilin also includes the bustling town of Yangshuo. Its main street, West Street has an array of traditional folk crafts and foods along with international and modern influences to suit every visitor s taste.

Daily Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Guilin : Attend a welcome party with an introduction of the tour and local culture. The rest of the day is at your leisure

Day 2

Reed Flute Caves, Mt Yao, Tea Farm : After breakfast, you will visit one of the most famous attractions in the city, the Reed Flute Cave, which is well-known for the exquisite stalagmites and stalactites in a variety of shapes. Take a cable lift to the top of the highest mountain in Guilin, Mount Yao, and enjoy the beautiful landscape. Visit a tea plantation along the Li River and learn how to make and drink Chinese tea.

Day 3

Li River, Yangshuo Town : Take a cruise along the Li River and enjoy the breathtaking landscape of beautiful limestone hills, tranquil fishing scenes and picturesque villages. Arrive at the small town Yangshuo and explore the colorful life of West Street. Learn more about Chinese culture such as the language, calligraphy, Tai Chi, cooking and chess with local people.

Day 4

Bike tour in villages : In the early morning, take a bike ride through the small farming villages that dot the landscape of Yangshuo. Say hello to farmers who tend to water buffalos in lush green rice paddies. Learn about traditional farm work and be treated to a farmhouse meal prepared by a local family.
